It appears, but is not confirmed, that something has to be tagged with certain terms before its ranking is delisted. Also, if you are running a "Books" search, rather than an "All Categories" search, the missing records will turn up. Hanne Blank has been affected by this, as has Susan Stinson. <i>Lady Chatterly's Lover</i> is one of the texts that had its ranking removed. So, it doesn't surprise me that yaoi isn't affected.
